Previewing the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 2010 Football Team.

At All About Sports, we've been looking at the position rankings in the ACC as part of our preview to the 2010 ACC Football season.
I am going to take a closer look at the teams as I finish those rankings, but I ran across a preview of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at www.accblogger.com that I found particularly interesting with several points I agree with. Check out the other ACC Team previews there as well.
Too many other previews of Yellow Jackets have focused on other teams figuring out the Paul Johnson's Triple Option offense. As the author Brandon Rink points out the offense won't skip a beat. Why should it? Johnson has succeeded running it wherever he's been. Yes there will be bad games, but if QB Joshua Nesbitt stays healthy the offense will be just fine.
The Jacket's have never had much size along the defensive line, and I think the move to the 3-4 will be a good one. A lot will depend how quickly the players can adapt to Al Groh's new defense. The Jackets also get back 6-4 Safety Cooper Taylor. He was a stud as a freshman in 2008, but had to sit out just about all of 2009 with a heart ailment.
I also see Georgia Tech finished second in the Coastal. I'm really high on Virginia Tech, and think this might be the Hokies best team since the Vick era teams. As the article points that is the game of the year for the Yellow Jackets. Keep an eye on that budding rivalry. It's starting to get a little nasty.
